Welcome to the 202nd week of Julian Assange Sydney Town Hall gatherings.
The corruption of democracy is assisted by the persecution of Julian Assange. We need to be truthfully informed so that true democracy can occur, but we are being lied to by people in our governments! Julian is depending on our unshakable unity to free him from torturous prison conditions, but we haven’t yet achieved that level of unity. This is what corrupt power wants and requires! Keeping Julian Assange in prison keeps corrupt power under the radar and in control! Freeing Julian Assange will change all that. Freeing Julian Assange is the most important thing we can do to achieve true democracy..
To free Julian Assange, all we need to do, is demonstrate our unity. We must overcome the things that prevent us from being a united force. In Julian’s words, there must be absolute unity and determination if we going to defeat those who oppress us. Likewise, there must be absolute unity and determination if we are going to free Julian Assange and keep him and other uncorrupted journalists free!
At this stage, we are too easily divided over the disagreements we have with one another. Some of us believe government propaganda and some don’t. Some of us are aligned with left wing propaganda while others are aligned with right wing propaganda. Some of us believe in net zero while others believe net zero is a nonsensical scam! These differences of opinion are trivial in the larger scheme of things. Differing opinions have always existed, and they are necessary for a functional democracy! However, if we don’t have a truly functional democracy, we have a big problem! We can’t have a truly functional democracy, if journalists are prevented from publishing true information, especially when the true information relates to the behaviour of the people in our governments. Without a free press, a truly functional democracy is impossible.
We can easily create the conditions necessary for a truly functional democracy if we demonstrate our unity! We must come together on the basis that a truly functional democracy requires the people to have access to authentic evidence and that the freeing of Julian Assange is the test for any government to be worthy of our respect.
Those who have corrupted democracy want us to be dependent on them. They want us to be told what is true and what is not true. In other words, they want us to believe their lies! We must take back our power. We must see the value in having access to true information. We must bring about unity, and with it, we must free Julian Assange, so that we can all be truthfully informed and our governments will be forced to serve the people.
Every time we resist propaganda we win and those who are profiting from the corruption lose. We must keep winning so that the corruptors of democracy keep losing!
Truth gives us power! Our knowledge of the truth demonstrates our power! We must use our power!
