Welcome to the 205th week of Julian Assange Sydney Town Hall gatherings.
Governments and the media have come up with some incredible theories of why we should all be fearful, and why we should all depend on them for solutions that don’t work, cause harm, and take away our freedom! They have no credibility! None whatsoever!
We must stop being influenced by the deceptive propaganda of governments and media. It doesn’t matter how honest, or official, or authoritative our governments or media may sound, we must realise they are lying to us and that they don’t have the capacity to do anything other than lie! This is because they are professional liars! They are paid to lie!
- They lie through omission of important truth,
- they lie by suggesting a consensus of opinion,
- they lie by using ambiguous language,
- they lie through carefully constructed qualifying statements,
- they lie by pretending to be super reasonable and open, while being the exact opposite,
- they lie through needlessly sensational headlines that distract,
- they lie by faithfully reporting the lies of others,
- and they simply tell boldfaced lies,
Censorship through the imprisonment of a journalist for publishing genuine, public-interest evidence, casts a dark shadow over the possibility of genuine democratic government! For 13 years, Julian Assange has been trapped in the UK, as a political prisoner! He is completely innocent. His persecution is a crime against humanity! He should have always been free! He should be free right now! We need journalists to be engaged in exposing corruption, injustice and breaches of human rights! Julian Assange has shown us it is possible! We must resist the propaganda that maintains corrupt power! We need to unite for the freedom of Julian Assange!
If it is possible to engineer situations that require the loss of our freedom, those who are willing to profit from the loss of our freedom will keep on engineering those situations through lies.
We need truth!
