Welcome to the 175th week of Julian Assange Sydney Town Hall Gatherings.
Julian Assange has exposed the criminals who now hold him hostage. These criminals hold Julian Assange hostage to prevent us from prosecuting them. When the facts are laid out, and critical reasoning is employed, it becomes clear that we must unite and win the freedom of Julian Assange. Julian’s freedom is our freedom. When we unite to free Julian Assange, we will also be freeing ourselves.
Julian Assange symbolises our right to be truthfully informed. Democracy can only be useful to people if the people are truthfully informed. Julian’s imprisonment shows us that corrupt power is fearful of an informed public. Corrupt power cannot operate when there is transparent democracy. Transparent democracy requires freedom of the press. The persecution of Julian Assange demonstrates that a free press can only be possible if the people are united for a free press. True democracy depends on the unity of informed people!
Julian Assange showed us that a free press is possible even under corrupt power but unless a free press has the backing of the people it will be suppressed. Julian Assange was able to run a free press by obtaining and publishing secret public-interest information, using advanced digital know how. Unfortunately for everyone, corrupt power has managed to control media to such an extent that there is a lack of true information and a prevalence of disinformation.
Corrupt power must be constrained by the unity of the people. Unity comes about through our ability to learn and communicate the truth! Corrupt power uses media it can control for the purpose of manipulating us. Controlled media employs propaganda narratives and censorship. We must resist mainstream media propaganda and censorship!
We all have the capacity to live freely, but we are all susceptible to manipulation through the mass media propaganda. Corrupt power has shown it can profit when it uses mass media propaganda to manipulate people into fear, hatred and the loss of freedom. The overwhelming majority of people naturally want to live their lives without causing harm to others but through false flag operations and propaganda narratives people can be manipulated into fighting one another. We must resist fighting each other. We must communicate freely! We all have much to gain through developing our abilities to communicate freely and openly!
Julian Assange has a 100% record of publishing authentic evidence in the public interest. Julian Assange is being persecuted for providing us with a foundation of truth. We need to use this foundation of truth to establish our unity and defeat corruption.
