Welcome to the 212th week of Julian Assange Sydney Town Hall gatherings.
The reasons for freeing Julian Assange are many and we need these reasons to feature in the minds of everyone!
We need governments to truly serve us. We need to free Julian Assange to make sure governments truly serve us. Everyone must be aware that true democracy involves we, the people, being truly in charge.
Julian developed ways to make transparent democracy a reality. Freeing Julian will put us in charge of our governments and corporations so that they are forced to serve us.
- Politicians must be made to serve us.
- Corporations must be made to serve us.
- Courts must be made to serve us.
If they did serve us, Julian Assange would be free. He would still be in good physical and mental shape. The damage inflicted on Julian by the collective persecution of governments and corporations reveals just how important Julian’s heroic journalism is for all of us.
The parasites of corrupt power are conspicuously working extremely hard to prevent us communicating freely. These parasites don’t want to be held to account.
In 2010, Pay Pal, Visa and Mastercard illegally blocked donations to Wikileaks, but were unable to halt Julian’s ground-breaking journalism. In 2023, the parasites of corrupt power are poised to introduce digital IDs linked to central bank digital currencies. If the only way we can purchase anything is with Central Bank digital currencies, we could become entirely dependent on them. This, of course, is what they want. This would give them absolute control. Dissent would be next to impossible.
Fortunately, many of us are waking up and resisting parasitic control by increasingly using cash! In the UK, in 2022, the number of cash transactions rose by seven per cent. This is the first time cash-use in the UK has risen in a decade.
Resistance involves doing what corrupt power is working very hard to prevent us from doing!
Resistance can be as easy as:
- Making use of a broad range of alternative media,
- Looking for evidence,
- Communicating freely,
- Respecting people who hold different viewpoints,
- Sincerely speaking the truth
- And using cash as much as possible!
Transparent democracy depends on all of us being truly independent and aware. Game-playing politicians are a distraction and have nothing to do with transparent democracy. We need free minds and free communication, so we can all be involved in determining a freer and better future.
